Lansing Bike Party

LBP is a casual yet zesty weekly Fri cruise around town and the surrounding area. - How far? 15-20 miles - How fast? 10-12mph/avg, often 13-14mph. You should be in shape with a good bike, experience riding in a bumpy city, fine on uphills. - When? Fridays, 6 pm & roll by 6:30 - Where do we meet up? Lansing Bike Co-op, 1715 Kalamazoo St, Lans. We try to post ride details early-ish each week. But, really, what's there to know? Happy Friday! Bike Party! We ride about an hour with a social stop, then we enjoy food'n'bev, then ride back. We end up riding at night so bring lights. Boomboxes and bell-ringing -- yes! Bring clothes, snacks, water, tools, tube. We ride responsibly and get along w drivers and neighbors. Follow leader and listen! Stick together. Avoid zoom ahead, dawdle behind, or startling. Group skilz! 15 yrs + 250 rides = no trouble! Rides happen other days, too, and with different styles -- check Events. Post your own rides! (Check with group admins if you're not sure about putting together your first group ride.) Share other rides in the region!
